File Folder List refresh issue

Sent you an email with all my settings files.
Nothing to do to reproduce the problem - nothing more to say than what I've already described above.
Every day when I turn my PC on it does various backups. This includes a script which deletes crap, especially from Temp folder, before I backup. This is when I notice the lack of refresh the most, when files are deleted, the screen scrolls up and in so doing "appears" to replace the deleted files with the file names etc. of existing files - as shown in the image above.
When I click on the FC window to bring it to the top the window refreshes and all appears OK. As I understand it, this should happen in the background automatically, or at least it used to.
