WinRAR & 7zip 64 bit not available: Drag-n-Drop Context Menu

#1 Post by el_kapitano » 01.11.2010, 15:03

Hello,
I'm working on a Win7 64 bit on my notebook. My desktop has Vista 32 bit.
Each computers use freecommander and winrar+7zip. I noticed that on the desktop:
1. right key mouse click on a (i.e.) rar file dragging it to other pane, on dropping you get a context menu which contains 7zip and winrar entries for uncompressing the file in the current dropped folder. i love this feature and use it a lot.

2. on my notebook, it also works but only with 32 bit versions of winrar and 7zip. when i install the 64 bit versions the entries are not available in the dnd-context menues, but only in drag-n-drop menu...

is there a quickfix for that? :-D

best regards
Rome

Same for me. Using Windows 7 and 7-zip 64bits

Adding the entries in freecommander.ini actually show the 64 bit context menu when right clicking on an archive, but when drag&dropping a file to the other pane with the right button to get the context menu, no 7-zip entry is shown. Is there an easy way to fix this?
