Packing problem

I was trying to use the packing feature. I had a very large directory (total 93 GB). I told it to pack it up and send it to an empty hard drive. It started but refused to do a lot of the files with a 518 error. What does that error mean, (file too large?) and is there a limit to the file size allowed. These are AVIs and can be very large.
