64-bit will not move or copy files up one level

#1 Post by paul_rako » 29.04.2025, 19:12

I installed the 64-bit donor version (Build 929 64-bit donor) on my Win11 laptop (Win 11 Pro, OS build 26100.3775) . If I click a file and drag it up a level, over the folder with two dots, the hover prompt is correct, "Move to xxxx" but nothing happens. Same for if I hold <Ctrl> to do a copy. The hover prompt appears, "Copy to xxx", but nothing happens. My 32-bit version works fine (Build 880 32-bit public). This bug happens both on my local C: drive, and on a volume in my NAS. Thanks to Freecommander, the two versions live side-by-side, so it is easy to switch between 32-bit and 64 bit. The 64-bit install uses the same setting file, so that is great too. If you add a "donate" link, I will happily give to support the software.

This works for me, but I get an enhanced dialog.
