The variables in the status bar

I was playing with the status bar, trying to understand how it works, the configuration of the variables.

I read the page here https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/D ... tails.html, but it is still not clear to me, maybe I missed something?

In the screenshot below, I have both panels in List mode, displaying exactly the same path, cursor is on the same directory. The status bar config can also be seen.

Why is the information displayed in the left panel different from the one on the right? In other words, why is there no size variable in the left?

You can start FreeCommander with default settings: Tools->Start new instance of FreeCommander with default settings
Check how it is with default settings.

I started FC with default settings and the left and right status bars display exactly the same information.
But this was expected.

But unfortunately that does not answer my questions.
