Feature Request - Paste on blank space

Hey

One of the things that bugs me on FC is not to be able to paste on the "blank space". It always selects a folder or a file and cannot paste on the root, like with Windows Explorer.

Can you fix that?

It's the option "full row select", which was removed on purpose, it was causing many problems.

What exactly do you need? Perhaps there is a good workaround.

Check the photos in the attachment.

Even the menus are different.

The paste option is not the same.
If you see Windows Explorer, we get the same menu and have the paste option.

If you want to paste from context menu:
- the paste command is in free space context menu
- if you have no free space in the file list, you can define mouse shortcut under "Settings->File/folder list: Mouse shortcuts" and for example call free space context menu on detail column right click
- in the release 916 "Paste" command was added to the context menu of the address bar
