### Creating a new repository file

the following steps to create a repository file to find files from the windows folder:

* Open the windows folder (C:\Windows) in the FreeCommander main window.
* Choose the menu item "View > Plain view - files" (or the shortcut "Ctrl+B"). The plain view of the windows folder (to see all files of all (sub-)folders in one list) will be shown.
* Choose the main menu item "Edit > Select all" (or the shortcut "Ctrl+A") to select all files of the windows folders.
