Currently there are multiple commands to open current folder in the other panel (either in the existing tab or in a new tab).
But all these commands share the same "side effect" that they also change focus to the other panel.
It would be nice if changing the panel focus was optional -- either by an option in settings, or by implementing "custom commands/macros" which would allow user to chain multiple FC commands for the desired effect (e.g. open folder in other panel + change focus back to the source panel).
Currently these are the commands that changes the focus to the other panel:
- Open left folder on the right [Ctrl+Right]
- Open right folder on the left [Ctrl+Left]
- Open folder in other panel
- Open folder: In the other panel (new Tab)
- Tab: Open in new folder tab in other panel
Also, it seems like the last two commands does the same thing?
Option to not change panel focus when opening folder
