General slow perfomance using 876 32-Public Build

#1 Post by SinisterFootware » 25.10.2022, 21:58

Delay of some seconds when changing directories. Hangs for around 10 seconds when opening. Slow to show contents of directories, to open files when double clicked, on renaming etc.
I reverted to a previous version that I still had the installer for, 861, and none of these issue are now present. I haven't tried intermediate versions.

Sorry, somewhat late update. Version 861 is also running really slowly. Windows Explorer is fine. I'm wondering if this is something to do with an update to Windows?
I'm now using the paid donor 64bit version and that is running perfectly.

Had the same problem.
In my situation te problem was solved bij removing te "OneDrive status" column (in both panes).

Also a good idea on network drives and Optical drives to make sure Icons are set to Registered and not Extracted (Settings, View, File/Folder list, Icons tab)
