Delay for folders to appear

Problem:
I launch Free Commander
I have to wait several seconds before the files and folders appear on both panes.
When I launch other file managers like Multi Commander, the content appears immediately.
So I don't think it is the Anti virus or internet security software that is interfering.

Try to start FC with fresh settings and see what happens,
