Recycle Bin folders do not succumb to settings of the overall Recycle Bin

#1 Post by Forez » 13.08.2022, 18:24

Users can set for the overall Recycle Bin folder [i.e. the one showing items from all drives] for example a Column named "Date Deleted" when being in a Detailed View mode. But when user navigates directly from that system's folder to a specific Recycle Bin folder [e.g. D:\$RECYCLE.BIN\S-1-5-21-3797103458-798797042-3558267449-1001], or even jumps to it by pasting in the Address Bar a proper path, then this "Date Deleted" Column will not automatically turn itself on

FreeCommander should detect that user has in one of the Panels a Recycle Bin folder opened and thus treat it exactly as it treats the Recycle Bin virtual that is set by the operating system - and thus present it to user with the same settings

[I am using FreeCommander version 861 32-bit public on Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 19042.746 x64]

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but you can ad it in the Column Profiles and Auto views, similar to the main recycle bin, so it could be always visible and also sorting will be always by Date Deleted, if you want.
