When a user right clicks [not only on a pinned down] Tab in order to get to its Properties a pop-up windows shows up. Unfortunately that window is to thin, because it has 3 boxes in which a name or path are to be shown: Tab name, File, Locked path
I propose widening that window - or to leave its current size but with an added feature to resize it [by grabbing and dragging its edges and / or bottom right corner]. The reason behind this are:
#1] Paths can be very long
#2] Filenames can be very long
#3] A user might be using a font that has wide letters
#4] A user might be using a font in an overall big size
#5] Current standard aspect ratio for monitor is 16:9 and not 4:3. There are also users with widescreen monitors- I reckon in greater numbers than those with 4:3 aspect ratio or some other niche vertical display hardware
#6] Other Free Commander windows can be adjusted to the needs of a given user- for example the Rename one that shows up when a user e.g. tries to write down an illegal character in a filename
If however that change is too complicated / time consuming, then at least please widen the Tab name box to the maximum available horizontal value available in the current size of the Properties pop-up window. Because while it might seem logical to limit length of that box as most users probably limit the length of theirs Tabs- but even such users want to see informative names in them thus need to adjust them in Properties ; and thus it is annoying and illogical to them to not see a full long foldername and to have to scroll through it to get to its further part [to utilize it as a name for Tab]

If anyone has any thoughts about this, then please do speak up
Re: Properties of Tab window is to narrow
Tab Properties dialog is already resizable in the actual donor version 879.
