Under the
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color
the user can change the color of font- but only for the hex mode, i.e. the
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color > Hex1 color
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color > Hex2 color
The normal font on the other hand has its color managed under the
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Font > Text > Effects > Color
And that is both just inconsistent in overall and detrimental for the normal font. Because for the Hexes [and other elements] the user can enter any of the 16 777 216 web colors, while for the normal font the choice is limited to 16
And so I hereby make a notion for addition of
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color > Text
which will govern from then on the main font color. It should be doable as apparently the
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Hex > Text > Effects > Color
is overridden by the choices made at
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color > Hex1 color
Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > Text > Color > Hex2 color
Viewer: inconsistent management of font colors
Re: Viewer: inconsistent management of font colors
I would also like to point out that such 16 colors limitation also exists for the color of font of the Title Bar of both Viewer ad Quick Viewer, as any one can check this by going to
Main Menu > Tools > Settings > View > Viewer > Viewer > General > Document title > Font > Effects > Color
and
Main Menu > Tools > Settings > View > Viewer > Quick Viewer > General > Document title > Font > Effects > Color
This color option should be changed to the same way in which colors of e.g. Tabs are configurable
