Size&position is lost when maximized window is closed (o

#1 Post by Dreamer » 08.10.2007, 00:00

I have decided to re-post some old, known bugs, I have reported via email - those bugs/issues which are quite important IMHO. Another reason is to prevent duplicate posts. This is the first one. All such a bugs will be marked with a suffix " (old)".

When I close FreeCommander in fullscreen, window size and position is not saved, it's changed to default - when I restore a window view.

When I close maximized internal FC viewer, size and position is not saved too.

This bug is back in the R357 (and the previous one). :(

Confirmed.

To reproduce:
  • 1. Maximize freeCommander;
    2. click on Extra, Save Settings;
    3. open another instance of freeCommander - it's maximized;
    4. double click on the title to restore to it's previous size - freeCommander will place itself in the center and default size - it should remember it's previous 'restored' size & position.

Losing position

If you have two monitors, this also affects which monitor FC opens in. That's important for me, too, because...well, I'm petrified in my ways, and I want FC in my right-hand monitor!
