Can't pin to start using FreeCommander 64 bit portable
Can't pin to start using FreeCommander 64 bit portable
I have installed the 64 bit portable version on my laptop hard drive and it works OK. I decided to pin the file FreeCommander.exe to the start (Windows 10). From within FreeCommander I right clicked on the file FreeCommander.exe and clicked on "pin to start" but nothing happened. When I repeated the process using Windows File Explorer it worked. I tried the process on other exe files and it was always the same, works with File Explorer and nothing with FreeCommander. Is this a bug?
Re: Can't pin to start using FreeCommander 64 bit portable
Confirmed, but it's the same with other file managers, with FC 64/32 bit, even when starting the program as admin. I'm not sure if it's a bug.
"Pin to taskbar" is missing in the list in FC.
Anyway, "Unpin from taskbar" is listed in FC and it works good.
Another test - drag&drop ex file from FC to taskbar to pin to taskbar works, drag&drop to start menu (need to press Win) doesn't work.
Note: Please try the latest FC version and add the FC version you're using in the post content or/and topic title.
FC 808 64-bit donor portable, Windows 10 64-bit 1909.

Thanks for the reply, to confirm, I am using FC 808 64-bit donor portable and Windows 10 64-bit 1909. Everything is up to date on my two laptops.
