I just moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10. And the bug is:
every time I "Backup your settings..." from the menu or use the "show dialog for selecting of the backup folder" icon on the Splitter, I have to navigate to the desired location. The same goes for restoring of my settings
This was not happening on the previous operating system
I am using FreeCommander XE 2018 Build 770 32-bit public
Settings folder is not remembered on Windows 10
Re: Settings folder is not remembered on Windows 10
Through all the updates this did not fixed itself
But after opening of the FreeCommander.ini file and changing in it the by hand the BkpSettingsFolder value, I was finally able to unblock this
