I have modified the icons of the portable version of FC. At first, I couldn't make the icons appear when I moved the FC somewhere else but I figured out a way. The program on my main PC is saved to:
C:\FreeCommander\
I saved the icons I use to this folder:
C:\FreeCommander\Settings\MyIcons
When I added my own icons to FC, I ended up with a path like this to the icon file:
C:\FreeCommander\Settings\MyIcons\name.ico
I found you can change it to this and will make the icons portable:
Settings\MyIcons\name.ico
Many of you probably already know this but some may not.

How to Add Your Icons to Portable Version
Re: How to Add Your Icons to Portable Version
That sounds interesting. Thanks. Are you referring to toolbar icons, or the icon for the FreeCommander application itself?
Re: How to Add Your Icons to Portable Version
It is the toolbar icons. They won't work on the portable version unless you make the link to the icons "relative" as I describe. It won't matter of course if you never move the program to another location, but then it wouldn't be portable.

Thanks FreeMan. That's a good tip.
