Search supports an impressive list of text encodings when searching for file content.
However I cannot find one suitable for finding text in the new, XML-based Microsoft office documents. Any idea?
By the way, Total Commander explicitly offers an encoding for office-XML.
And another thing, the possibility to select multiple encodings at once.
Cheers, Alfred
How to search for test in office documents?
Re: How to search for test in office documents?
Was implemented and works fine in FreeCommander XE 2016 release 727 donor
See viewtopic.php?f=6&t=775&start=165#p23950
In 'Search files/folders' - 'Search file content' - 'Containing text:' enter desired text and would see option 'Search in Office xml'. If there is no text in 'Containing text:' then 'Search in Office xml' disappears.
