Portable downloads, there are two of them

... what is the difference between
  • FreeCommanderPortable_2015_Build_685.paf.exe
    -AND-
    FreeCommanderXE-32-public_portable.zip
I am using extracted portable FreeCommanderXE-32-public_portable.zip

The .paf extension is mainly used by portable applications in PA.c format, better suited to be used with the PortableApps platform (although they can be used as standalone apps).

If you don't use that, the .zip file is what you need.
