deleting directories

I am having trouble deleting directories. I right click and bring up the delete screen but it does not delete???
What am I doing wrong?

FC version? Windows version? Delete method used (Tools->Settings->File/folder operations)? Does the folder you want to delete contain any Unicode characters? Or maybe it's in use by some other app? What error message do you get, if any? If you hit Refresh (default shortcut Ctrl+R) is it still in the files list?
