I've been using FC for about a month and am still learning all it's features. It seems that you have to be in a blank spot of a panel to use the context menu option "New Folder". Meaning you have to be at the very bottom of the folder/file listing to use that command. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Cathy
Creating New Folder option
Re: Creating New Folder option
You have to use the empty space to get that context menu, but you can create a new folder also using the main menu (Folder > New) or the main toolbar button or using the hotkey (F7).
Re: Creating New Folder option
Much faster: hit F7 key (you can change it in Tools->Define keyboard shortcuts) or hit the "Creates new folder" toolbar button (Tools->Customize toolbars).
Edit: oops, same time, Dreamer.

... or right-click in the column header (in any column header but the 'Name' column)
But my favorite is F7!

Re: Creating New Folder option
I didn't know about that, anyway, one more option - use the splitter bar button, very handy button if you need to create new folder often.
BTW I use F7 too, and I have changed the F8 key to "Create new file".
