How to delete numbers in multi-rename tool

Hello (sorry for my english)

I try to delete the automatic number (by scan) at the end of the file.

fileA-00001
fileB-00001
fileC-00001
...

I can use (n-5) but some files have no number at the end. And also, the name will be truncate.

I found the solution but i lost them when i re-install the new version

PS : is there a guide for multi-rename tool with wildcard or regexp. I found a ling but nothing behind
