Changing Tree Font Color

#1 Post by Monger » 27.05.2014, 11:55

Settings - View - Tree - Color/Font/Icons - Color - Font.

It defaults to "Window Text" and if I select a different color, it doesn't change. I'm sure I'm missing something, so how do I change the tree font's color?

Thanks

Which version are you using? It works good here, in build 650, also after restart, please install the latest version if you're using older version.

If you change to custom color, you need to click the color box next to "More colors.." after you change it.

I'm using the portable version (FreeCommander XE 2014 ZIP, 650).

The color change works in the preview in the settings window, but it doesn't change after I click apply/OK. When I go back to the settings window, it has reverted to "Window Text".

Confirmed for current beta version also (default settings, x86 and x64).
As Dreamer suggested, it works if you hit the Font button afterwords, but I still think it's a bug.

1. Hit the "Color" button, then select "Font" and choose your desired font color.
2. Hit the "Font" button and hit "OK" in the newly opened window.
3. Hit "Apply".

Thanks for the reply joby,

Unfortunately, that only seems to work for non-selected tree items. No matter what I do, the selected tree items font colour will not change.
