Right click menu how to add Nero Burning Rom

#1 Post by asbaker47 » 07.01.2014, 23:33

My other file programs have burning to Nero Burning Rom (11) as a choice when I right click a file. I don't have this with either the older or newer versions of FC. Can someone please give me directions on how to get that, if possible? Thanks. (I have Windows 7)

I'll take a wild guess and assume you're using a 64-bit OS. Try one of these:

1. hold Win key while right clicking

2. use this shortcut:

3. edit the file FreeCommander.ini and change this line
ShowContextMenu64Bit=0
to
ShowContextMenu64Bit=1

Thanks again for your help. Yes I am using 64 bit Windows 7 on the computer I wrote about. What works is left Window key with right click. And it is easy to remember in this elderly brain! My ini file does not have a line ShowContectMenu64Bit=0 or =1 and doesn't seem to help if I add that to the ini file. Also the shortcut shift-ctrl-F10. But having one easy method works for me.

Still playing around and will look at the recommended pdf files soon. I intend to get used to the program while, as I said before, is very close to what I am used to having. thanks for covering all the bases I use.

If you don't have this line in your .ini file, you can add it yourself, but only in the [Form] section.

Note: this is just an example, it doesn't need to be the first line; I actually add these lines at the very end of the [Form] section, so I can easily remember to remove if necessary.
