Hey, y'all, I just got XYplorer from GAOTD just to play with it. The application is very snappy.
One thing I found was that I could display the "comments" column in details view. I found that I could also do that in FCXE.
However! In XYP, I can right-click on the field in the "comments" column - and *edit* the field! I *can't* do that in FCXE.
What if you could, instead of always working through the "properties" dialogue, simply edit the information right in details view in the listing? That would be a time saver - it would be a workflow improver. It would be pure GTD.
Perhaps editing the "comments" field could be a feature at least added to the "Attributes/Timestamp" dialogue. It would be a handy way to annotate files.

Re: FC and Editing the Comments Column
i wish FC XE did that too. however, i think XYplorer add some sort of custom file in the folder to hold "comments"? I was hoping comments could be added using the "desktop.ini" file that windows itself generates for descriptions for folders. If FC XE could write comments to that ini file, that would be awesome.
