- use Windows for delete operation in settings
- open file containers folder (address bar right click, third item, Go to...)
- enter any container, e.g. TmpFileContainer-1.fcc
- copy the folder to container
- select the folder in file container
- use Delete key
= the file is deleted immediately, no warning dialog is opened, as with the FC delete operation!*
* This is very danger, if the user is not using confirmation for recycle bin, or even use the option to delete files immediately, he might lose important data.
590 - File Containers - danger delete bug!
Re: 590 - File Containers - danger delete bug!
This is still a danger in 598. Deleting a file from a file container...
- using FC Delete --> a warning is given that both the disk (original) copy and the container (mirror) copy will be deleted.
- using Win Delete --> no special warning is given, just the normal Win confirmation; it appears that only the container copy will be deleted.
