591 - Search results show multiple Access is Denied messages

After doing an Alt-F7 search of my local hard drivers -- C: and D: -- the Search Log tab shows dozens and dozens of Access is Denied messages on folders I have complete access to (I'm logged in with full local admin rights). No matter what I search for I get the same results.



I'm using Windows 7 32 bit, fully patched and up to date.

I've also noticed that the search seems to be rather slow. Is that because XE is still in beta form?

confirmed in 598, to reproduce search for *.* in c:\

"Access denied" even for folder with full access to everyone, eg:
C:\Users\Public\Downloads
