Booting under Win XP x64 all the files in some system folders are not displayed.
Options are set to display system and hidden files
However the following folder, for example, shows only one file
F:\Windows\System32\Drivers
but My Computer, Explore shows all the files plus subdirectories.
Also, using properties under My Computer, Exlpore shows the correct oount of files and subdirectories, while FC shows 1 and 0 respectively.
Booting under Win XP x86 shows all these files under FC without problem.

Re: Win XP x64 Does not display all files in folder
Hi,
Reminds me of this:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 85%29.aspx
Tl;DR: on x64 windows, the system32 folder is redirected behind a 32bit applications back to SysWOW64 -> different folder with other contents
Only 64 bit apps have access to the real system32 folder
