Unpack in Subfolder

#1 Post by wrbird » 21.05.2013, 17:30

Is Unpack in Subfolder option going to be available in FC XE like it is in 2009? This was very useful.

What happened to this option in v633?

v633 also doesn't have this option like FC2009b has:

It is still there in FC XE 633.
If you do not open archive, but only highlight archive file (set cursor on archive file) and press Alt+F6 (Unpack) then you'll see "Unpack in subfolder" option and all other options.
But such a different behavior can be confusing. Something needs to be improved.

This is definitely defective. So you can only unpack an entire zip file using that option, but not a file within the zip. Marek will need to put the functionality back to the way 2009b was.

Marek, do you know if you're going to address this shortcoming? In 2009b it worked great!

Changes for the release 634:
- "Unpack in subfolders" is visible for copy opearation from archive
- "Unpack path names if stored" is not needed; open plain view for archive and copy the content if you do not like the stored paths;

Thanks Marek for fixing this in v634. It's working great now.
