Ver.: FreeCommander 2009.02b
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit, SP1
Dear all
I am having an issue with opening folders/files, which contain letters such as "ď, ť, ň, ľ, č, š, ž" and others. Even though I am able to create a file/folder with such a name using FreeCommander, the punctuation marks will disappear after the folder is created/renamed. If I do it in a Windows Explorer, it stays the same, but then FreeCommander doesn't show the punctuation marks and cannot open the folder.
I wonder whether this happens mainly because I have a lot of files in a multi-layer structured folders...
I would be grateful for your help.
Cannot open files/folders with punctuation
Re: Cannot open files/folders with punctuation
FreeCommander 2009 doesn't support unicode characters.

Re: Cannot open files/folders with punctuation
Duplicate topic, issue fixed in the XE version, it's still beta, but it's stable enough to use, several users incl. me are using it for months without critical issues.
