612 - Max. column width for list view - issue

#1 Post by Dreamer » 19.01.2013, 00:53

When using options:

Right align extension for details and list view
...and
Max. column width for list view

It works strange in same cases:

1. When using value 10, extensions are missing, a bug(?)
2. When using value 12, extensions are missing in some folders only
3. When using value 20, it's OK and the width is always the same.
4. When using value 30+ (36 on screenshot), width in some folders is not the same*.

* For example \FreeCommander vs. \FreeCommander\Lng folders - it's almost the same as on the screenshot...

It's the same in build 612 and 611 with the ini from 612, Win Vista 32 bit.

For me the issues # 1 and 2 are not important, nobody will be using such values, but the #4 is strange, I'd like to align extensions absolutely right, but it's impossible for some folders.

Edit: When I create the folder with a very long name, like 1111111111222222222233333333334444444444 in the FC lng folder, then the other files are OK, the extensions are aligned right correctly.

In 613 "Right align extension for details and list view" doesn't work at all.

Small bug:
- deactivate NC-Mode for selection
- change to "General" tab and deactivate "Use Windows colors"
- activate NC-Mode
