595 - Opening multiple files issue and suggestion

#1 Post by Dreamer » 21.06.2012, 15:47

When I open multiple files with Enter, mp3 files are opened in WMP instead of AIMP (default program for mp3 files), this is probably a bug.

When I open multiple video files, they are opened in VLC - correctly, added as multiple playlist items, multiple text files are opened in PSPad in multiple tabs.

I suggest to open the mp3 files the same way as video and text files, so in the associated program in one playlist.

I make no difference between the files. All files are opened the same way.
What is with "open" from context menu?

There is no OPEN in the context menu, default (bold) action is "Add to WMP list", but...

1. When I select 2 or few more mp3 files, they are opened in AIMP, and the OPEN is in the menu, however, all files are opened quickly and only the last one is in the playlist, not like the text and video files.

2. When I select all files using num* , they are opened in WMP and "Add to WMP list" is in menu, no OPEN - I am sure all files are mp3 only.

So it was the AIMP bug, it has been fixed in the new version.
