Single click - folder change delay issue

- enable these options:
- [10] hover time
- [x] open folders with single click
- click any folder once to enter this folder
- after about 1 sec. click another folder once to enter that folder
= it doesn't work
When you wait more than 2 sec., it works, always.
Perhaps it's some Windows limitation, because hover time is set to just 10 ms (edit I tried also 0ms, still the same).
Is it possible to solve this problem somehow? Because single click should be faster than double click, but I have to wait 2 sec. between 2 clicks, it's quite annoying.
