Request For Additional Multi-Rename MP3 Variables
Posted: 21.10.2008, 15:46
I would like to request the addition of more selectable MP3 Variables in the Multi-Rename dialog.
Bit Rate (kbps) - i.e. 32 kbps, 64 kbps, 128 kbps, 192 kbps, etc.
Bit Rate Type (text) - i.e. CBR, VBR, ABR, etc.
Sample Rate (kHz) - i.e. 22.05 kHz, 44.10 kHz, etc.
Sample Rate (Hz) - i.e. 22050 Hz, 44100 Hz, etc.
Channels (numeric) - i.e. 1, 2, etc.
Channels (text) - i.e. Mono, Stereo, Joint Stereo, etc.
Bits Per Channel / Bit Depth - i.e. 16, etc.
Length / Duration - i.e. hh:mm:ss, etc.
I think that should pretty much cover it.
Thank you,
BK
Just thought of something. Would there be any interest in allowing some of the variables that can be used in the Multi-Rename dialog to be used in Custom Columns as well?
I could set up a tab for Images and use EXIF data, another tab for MP3's and use that data, etc.
You could have Column 1 be NAME, Column 2 be WIDTH, Column 3 be HEIGHT for pics.
For MP3's you could have Column 1 be NAME, Column 2 be KBPS, Column 3 be SAMPLE RATE, Column 4 be LENGTH, etc.
Just a thought (and a good one I think)
Thanks
