844 - Thumbnail View - "Draw caption without clipping" issue (updated)

#1 Post by Dreamer » 27.02.2021, 10:52

OK, found a bug in 844 (and 8441 test version).

To reproduce just use the option "Draw caption without clipping" with default settings and files like on the screenshot.
Long file names to test:

Code: Select all

1
!FC.txt
1 Very very very very very very very very very very very very long filename test.JPG
2 Very very very very very very very very very very very very long filename test.JPG

With my custom setting I had this view first, I can't reproduce it now, strange:
EDIT: I have this with custom settings, when I switch from list view to thumbs view:

EDIT: After locking view at thumbs view and refresh (or lock view, change folder and go back) it's broken, the caption is behind the other thumbnails:

Another test, default settings, spacing x=6, y=38, same files, option "Draw caption without clipping":

Partly fixed only in 8442, sorry.

- default settings
- enable the option "Draw caption without clipping"
- it works good it works
- change folder and go back
= broken, use the size 64 or 48, it's better visible for me

- ctrl+shift+r
- it works good now

- lock view
- change folder and go back
= broken
