788 - "Delete - no dialog" cursor possition change issue

#1 Post by Dreamer » 11.12.2018, 19:50

I'm not sure if it's more issue or bug, but still quite annoying...

To reproduce:
- right click the recycle bin button/icon > Properties > disable the option "Display delete confirmation dialog"
- start with default settings
- use option "Use FreeCommander" for delete, copy and move
- use option "Use FreeCommander method" below (should be set by default)
- use option "Auto minimize when starting the operation" for copy, move and delete dialog, Settings tab
- copy or move any file using Shift+F5 or Shift+F6 shortcut
- dialog blinks, file is copied/moved, cursor position is preserved - correct

- now use option "Use Vista method for all drives"
- copy or move any file using Shift+F5 or Shift+F6 shortcut
= dialog blinks, file is copied/moved, cursor position is changed / lost

- delete a file using Ctrl+Del shortcut or "Delete - no dialog" toolbar button
= dialog blinks, file is deleted, cursor position is changed / lost

It's the same if the option "Use Vista+ delete method" for delete dialog is enabled or disabled.
It's the same with the option "Make Queue button as default in the operation dialog..

It's not such a problem when using the keyboard shortcuts, but it's a problem when using toolbar buttons Copy, Move and Delete - no dialog (all without dialogs and with auto minimize option). It's a problem when deleting many files one by one with mouse

Workaround for Copy/Move:
- use option "Use FreeCommander method"

Workaround for Delete:
- use option "Use Windows" for Delete file operation (this option can't be used with the Queue feature, it's a problem when deleting many files, thousands)
