Step 1: Select multiple textfiles
Step 2: Press F3 to start the viewer
Step 3: Delete a file from within the viewer.
Result: next textfile is shown
Step 4: Delete a file from within the viewer
Result: Message box pops up with text "List index out of bounds (-1)".
It would be very handy if you can use the DELETE key to delete a file in the viewer. This key can however not be assigned.

Can't confirm.Mago wrote: Result: Message box pops up with text "List index out of bounds (-1)".
It IS possible, just change one line in FreeCommander.ini file (close FC first!):Mago wrote:It would be very handy if you can use the DELETE key to delete a file in the viewer. This key can however not be assigned.
qviFileDelete=Del
For me the dialog is annoying, also the "No" button is focused, it's quite annoying to press - Delete, Left, Enter...
Thanks Dreamer. DEL key works now.
Deleting many files is indeed annoying. An option "Do not comfirm file delete" would be very usefull when viewing many text/picture files.
Have you tried creating >5 textfiles in a testfolder and deleting them after each other in the viewer? Sometimes they are viewed out of sequence and that might be related to the issue.
