Mouse-wheel line-scroll settings ignored

#1 Post by H.Seldon » 27.11.2013, 16:42

I have noticed recently that scrolling in the file list window is always 14 lines at a time. The 2009 version scrolls the number of lines specified in the Control Panel settings.

Is this still an open question?
I had the same problem and Marek answered in the German speaking forum to add this line (or alter if it already exists)
FileListMouseWheelScrollMultiplier=1
into the [Form] section of FreeCommander.ini.
That solved the issue for me.

This is still an issue for me. The ini file change did nothing.

...and, the issue turned out to be a crappy third-party mouse/driver. I replaced it with a Microsoft Mobile 4000, and it's working perfectly.

Can you be more specific as to which "crappy mouse software" was causing the problem?

I am using the latest version of the Logitech Setpoint Software and have the same problem with scrolling many lines in the list display.

I also found that adding the line FileListMouseWheelScrollMultiplier=1 in the FreeCommander.ini file [form] section has no effect.

My post reporting this last January is viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5622
