Organizing the Favourites Tree

#1 Post by BGM » 17.11.2012, 03:55

There seem to still be some issues with rearranging items in the favourites tree. If you use the "Favorites - Edit..." command in the main Favourites menu, there is no problem.

However, if you try to rearrange items using the mouse within the favourites tree panel, now that is another story. The panel expands at the wrong times. Also, some things just won't move. There is a lot of window-flashing if you move one category folder into another one (and everything expands).

I think you should be able to move items in the favourites tree, if it has focus, by using ctrl+shift+up and ctrl+shift+down, and to move them into and out of categories with ctrl+shift+left and ctrl+shift+right.

Otherwise, I think that in the item's context menu in the favourites panel, there should be "move up" and "move down" else the tree itself should get its own little toolbar for tree-oriented commands (like KeyNote and TreeDBnotes).
