Single click mode - Doing a drag select causes a click

#1 Post by SurfRat » 09.02.2011, 06:41

Version: FreeCommander XE 0.0.0.520

I am using FC in single click mode. I have the following options set:

Select Items - Select with mouse pointer
Hot track only - ticked
Hover time - 500ms
Open file with single click - ticked
Open folder with single click - ticked

If I drag over a group of files with the left mouse and then release ( to select a group of files) the release seems to trigger a mouse click and the last file I selected is opened.

Free Commander v2009.02b does not display this problem.

Thanks

Hi,

Version: FreeCommander XE 0.0.0.550

I am using FC in single click mode. I have the following options set:

Select Items - Select with mouse pointer:
Hot track only - ticked
Hover time - 500ms
Open file with single click - ticked
Open folder with single click - ticked

This issue has been looked at already and most of the time it is fixed. If you do a multi select via drag and the last file you select is an executable then the executable is run as if you clicked on it. In my testing this does not always occur and your mouse cursor must be released on the executable. The correct behavior is to just select the group of files and not run the executable.

Thanks

SurfRat.
