Attribute/Timestamp

can you please help me, when I use Attributes/Timestamp in an .exe file because that exe file is hidden so what I will do is I will remove his hidden attribute using attribute/timestamp, just in case after I do it he still returns to the previous, which is not the hidden one is deleted, the .exe file is still hidden, I don't know what happened, why didn't it apply.
