Hello,
I have faced the same issue (feature?) several times now.
What I have used?
FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 840 32-bit public
Windows 10 newest updates
The issue is also visible in
FreeCommander XE 2019
Windows 10 newest updates
What is the issue:
Imagine your URI is
M:/SOME_SUB_FOLDERS/01_DB/01_Vehicle/2021/A_VERY_LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG_FOLDERNAME/01_Vehicle/02_Data/01/ITDOESNTMATTERANYMORE
Important: the Folder "01_Vehicle" is used two times in the same URI
I am inside /01/ folder and Freecommander shows me this in the blueish colored path field: M:\...\01_Vehicle\02_Data\01 .
By clicking on "01_Vehicle", when it gets yellow colored, it jumps to the first occurrence of "01_Vehicle" folder inside URI, and NOT, what I expect, to the second occurrence I have actually clicked on.
it looks like a real bug.
It doesn't appear when:
I am in "02_Data" folder and Freecommander shows me this in the blueish colored path field: M:\...\2021\A_VERY_LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG_FOLDERNAME\01_Vehicle\02_Data .
By clicking on "01_Vehicle", when it gets yellow colored, it jumps to the second occurrence of "01_Vehicle" folder inside URI. so here it is fine
Path-link directs to wrong folder
Re: Path-link directs to wrong folder
Thanks, I can reproduce it.
Fixed for the next release.
