To reproduce:
- use default settings
- use NC-mode for easier work with selected items
- for compare folders use just options "file name" and "reload both lists before compare", uncheck all other options
- create the first subfolder (S) in empty folder (F)
- now copy some files to folder F
- create few subfolders in subfolder S, e.g. 1, 2, 3
- copy some files to subfolders 1, 2, 3, some should be different, some same as in folder F
- in the left panel go to subfolder S
- in the right panel go to folder F
#1
- after the steps above go to left panel
- use plain view in left panel
- press Alt+V to compare files
= plain view in the right panel is activated!
- invert files in both panels
= now in the left panel, selected files should be the same, duplicated, but also the files which exist just once are selected, because of the bug.
Therefore it's a quite danger bug, because user can delete these files, because they look as duplicates.
#2
- after the steps above #1 go to left panel
- use plain view in left panel
- go to right panel
- press Alt+V to compare files
= plain view in the left panel is disabled before compare operation
Workaround - Disable "reload both lists before compare" option.
