v786 FCIcons.dll older than existing version

#1 Post by coyote » 29.10.2018, 18:06

The FreeCommanderXE-32-donor_setup786 installer asks me whether I want to keep the existing FCIcons.dll or use the older one in the installer.

I chose "No" to trust the Installer, so I guess "the existing file" is now gone forever (so I guess I shoulda clicked "Yes", dammit).

Seeing the same with the 64-bit donor version. I clicked yes to keep the old version as I figured I could reinstall and copy over if necessary.

I have version 770A 64 bit donor. The last few upgrades have given me the error that the upgrade is older than my current version. What can be done?
Thank you

If you have doubts, then always use what setup has.

Does that mean install the update even though it says files are older than what is already installed?

If you install an upgrade - I would say yes.

Thank you for checking in Marek, and for your wonderful FC!!

(Yay, I guess I guessed right clicking "No".)
