FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 685a 64-bit donor
I have compared before, during, and after versions of FreeCommander.ini, these settings:
[Dir1_History]
[Dir2_History]
It seems that the folder history persists fine while FC is running, and saves to the .ini fine on close, but then is not loaded on startup.
The only history that shows up correctly is the History0 value, then it adds to the list in memory from there and overwrites the old history list on exit.
Running on Windows 10 as a limited user. I have noticed the same thing on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit when running as a limited user.
Ok, just tried it on my Admin account, and the same thing happens. The history folders save to .ini file, but then when restarting the program they do not load in.
Settings > General > Delete history entries on close is NOT checked.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Folder history not loaded on startup
Re: Folder history not loaded on startup
I can reproduce it if the option is active:
- Folder history per tab
Additional the option "Close all not locked tabs when the program ends" (if active) may be important.

Re: Folder history not loaded on startup
Thank you! I turned off the setting and it is now working as expected:
Settings > View > Folder Tabs > Tab Mngment > Folder history per tab
Settings > View > Folder Tabs > Tab Mngment > Folder history per tab
