Hi,

I've just read another topic when someone said that the new flat icon looked "chic" so I guess there are other people out there who dig this style of icon design.

I don't. And I've been disappointed to meet the new icon design when I last updated. Is there any way to change the icon set to things that look more like icons and less like pictographs? Or to revert to the style that prevailed a few versions back? Because honestly, and apart from the visual style preference, I have a hard time guessing the meaning of new icons and I have to let the mouse hover over them and read the tooltips before I know whether it has the function I wanted to use.

Tools - Customize toolbars - General options: Use flat symbols

I couldn't have guessed I looked for "icons" in the settings window.

I've changed it and I'm satisfied. Thank you.

When I select "Use Flat Symbols" - all my icons disappear !



(Except for one favourite tool that I added manually...at the end)

I wonder what could be causing this ?
