Build 693 x64 - Windows 10 10162 - Can't close panel

Have Dual Panel enabled but can't close either panel using the x in the corner. I've tested this on both the install and portable versions. Can anyone confirm?

That's used for tab closing, not panel closing. Use F10 instead.

It would be nice to add tips for two buttons in the upper right corner for each panel to prevent such misunderstandings in future.

Thanks joby_toss! I didn't think that was what they were for since the tabs had their own x in the tab. Seems redundant and obviously confusing.

This is not a bug, moved to Beta Discussion.

Edit: For default view with one tab it might be confusing, but for several tabs, if [x] button is disabled for active tab, that [x] button is useful.

Hint / workaround for closing the panel - right click the address bar, select "customize toolbars..." and add option "Dual/one panel" (type quickly D, U to find it easily). Of course, you can add this option to any toolbar.
