32 bit plugins in the 64 bit FC

#1 Post by BGM » 30.04.2015, 16:26

Previously I was using the 32 bit FC and configured all my favourite plugins.
But when I changed to start using the 64 bit FC, the plugins stopped working unless I found a 64 bit plugin.

Is is possible to make FC 64 bit use the 32 bit plugins too?

okay, so I will have to go and download the 64 bit versions and configure them all...

In particular, I want a pdf viewer.

Well, normally the plugins ship with both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

If you have a plugin configured, I wonder if FC64 couldn't know to choose the 64bit version if it is available, and if not, it could disable the plugin.
Likewise, 32 bit FC should choose the 32bit version.

But maybe that's too much. I will configure all my plugins to the 64bit versions now that I am using 64bit FC.

I wish that I could just point FC to the folder that has all the plugins and FC could just go and pull them all in. Then I could just enable the ones I want. Right now I have to manually add each one.
