I've encountered 2 issues with the search function:
1) Sometimes I am unable to close the search box and so must terminate FC to close it.
2) I'm getting false positives. See attached.
Also, 50 kB is a bit small for an attachment limit!
Thanks.
Search Issues
Re: Search Issues
NOT confirmed in FC XE 674 in Windows XP SP3
Unpacked content of archive to C:\xampplite
Tried to make search with conditions from screenshot (file name - cnf, in C:\xampplite\mysql, with Search in archives and switched off Advanced mode). Result - found 0 files and 0 folders.
May be you use other search conditions? Also it would be nice to look at Search log.
Never expected such a behaviour.1) Sometimes I am unable to close the search box and so must terminate FC to close it.
Downloaded XAMPP Lite 1.7.3 from http://download.cnet.com/XAMPP-Lite/300 ... 57363.html2) I'm getting false positives. See attached.

Re: Search Issues
Thanks for going to the trouble of downloading xampp to test the problem.
I unpacked a fresh copy of FC 674 and have no trouble w/the search function.
The problem must be happening because I copied my old settings files when upgrading.
So today I just copied my FreeCommander.ini to the fresh install and the search is working correctly (much faster also).
As a matter of procedure - is the correct upgrade to just copy FreeCommander.ini?
Thanks again.
Edit: Also copy FreeCommander.fav.xml to the new install. This doesn't affect the search functions.
