Gradient style for selected items and panel background?

I really like the new effects - gradient style for the menus, it looks very nice, thank you very much for this option, Marek. What about the same also for the selected item on active (and inactive) panel, and perhaps also for selected items - in NC mode?
Perhaps also for the both panels background, as option of course, I think it would be nice...
